Bio

Thulani Mtombeni is a student in the faculty of ICT specializing in Communication Technology. He is a tutor in the First Year and Foundation Unit. Thulani is driven to pursue a career in the faculty by ensuring student excellence, assisting students and learning from those who have experience in this field. He has been a tutor in the faculty, strongly involved in organising faculty events such as Orientation, bootcamps, studythons, only to mention a few and has also been a product owner of a few projects in ICEP. With the years in the institution, he has also held several governance positions such as, ASP (All Sports Council) as a Chairperson, ARC (All Residence Council) also as a Chairperson, Health and Wellness Peer Educator as a Public Relations Officer, house committee chairperson, and that is a tip of an iceberg, and has also won a few awards in the institution. Thulani loves the ICT field, and how it can improve lives of people; not forgetting how participation can improve one’s life.
